Psalms 119:27 Make me to understand the way of Your Commandments, and I will speak of Your wonderful works.
Bible Reading for September 6 (ONPP)
II Thessalonians 1 – 3, Psalms 63

II Thessalonians 1:1 – Paul was not embarrassed about writing the same thing to different churches. God has His Word written the same to each of us. God does not change and neither does His Word.
II Thessalonians 1:6 – This applies very well with Psalms 40 where David is being persecuted and asks for deliverance.
II Thessalonians 1:8–9 – Paul is surly giving the revelation of God’s judgement without sugar coating it.
II Thessalonians 1:12 – Definitely the goal of a believer in Christ.
II Thessalonians 2:1–12 – Paul is giving us a view of the Great Tribulation and the Anti–Christ.
II Thessalonians 2:3 – This falling away refers to the people of the Earth that no longer care about the importance of worshiping God.
II Thessalonians 2:4 – Even in the Garden of Eden Satan deceived Eve that she would be as God knowing good and evil. Ever since mankind has been trying to reach God or making themselves a god to themselves but God has always bee there to receive them if they would accept His provision of redemption just as He gave Adam and Eve animal skins to cover themselves (a sacrifice of blood representing what was to come).
II Thessalonians 2:6 – It is the Holy Spirit in indwelling those that have put their trust in the salvation offered by God through the redeeming sacrifice of His Son on the cross that holds back Satan’s false god.
II Thessalonians 2:11 – The lie of the Anti–Christ will be believed by many so that their unrighteousness will not contaminate Heaven.
II Thessalonians 3:6 – A precursor to church discipline.
II Thessalonians 3:15 – A person of the congregation that has missed the mark needs loving discipline as verbal correction and solitude until their repentance.
II Thessalonians 3:17 – Though Paul may not have physically pinned the entire letter, he pinned the introduction himself as evidence that the letter was from him.
