Psalms 119:27 Make me to understand the way of Your Commandments, and I will speak of Your wonderful works.
Bible Reading for October 18 (ONPP)
James 3 – 5., Psalms 99
James 3:1 – To teach is in the position of giving a true representation of the subject, not what you think about it. Read this chapter carefully, pay attention to what it says so that you won’t be lead astray by your pride. Jesus did say that it is better to be thrown into the sea than to lead His little ones astray.
James 4:17 – To see a need and not try to fill it is the easiest sin to make. You are putting you time and resources ahead of the need that God has put in your path. It is always our own selfishness and greed that temptation is successful with.
James 5:16 – Here is part of my problem, pride, not confessing my faults. The publican walked out righteous but the Pharisee did not.
James 5:20 – God is faithful to forgive the sin of one that turns away from sin and trusts in Him.
Psalms 99:1 – Wow! Righteousness, Power, Justice, Glory, Holy, Greatness, Merciful, Loving, Forgiving, these words do not come close to describing HIM.
