Ezekiel 9 – 11., Proverbs 11
Ezekiel 9:2 – Are these six, angels that oversaw the city?
Ezekiel 9:9 – The people say that Jehovah has forsaken the land but they have forsaken God and have turned willingly to their own lusts for power. Yet in verse 4 there are some that still honor God and will be saved from destruction.
Ezekiel 11:17 – There is hope and God keeps His promises. He will bring the faithful of Israel back to the land after it has been cleansed of the corrosion of those that have turned away from God.
Proverbs 11:1 – Thou shall not bare false witness to thy neighbor.
Proverbs 11:7 – To the wicked this earth will be the only heaven they will experience but to those that repent and turn to God this earth will be the only part of hell they will experience.
Proverbs 11:8 – This gives an interesting parallel to being saved and lost.
Proverbs 11:11 – Who are the leaders in our time that have strong cities and who preside over fallen cities?
Proverbs 11:16, Proverbs 14:1, Proverbs 21:9, Proverbs 21:19, Proverbs 25:24, Proverbs 27:15. Proverbs 9:13,
Proverbs 11:31 – Being rewarded on earth is not necessarily a good thing.
Luke 16:22–23 – And so the rich man died and was buried and lifted up his eyes in hell.
