Bible Reading for November 7 (ONPP)
Ezekiel 47 – 48, Proverbs 14
Ezekiel 47:1 – Now God reveals the Millennial Temple to Ezekiel. Like seeing two mountains in the distance that look close to each other when in reality they are separated by a vast plain. The description talked about sacrifices but in the Millennial Temple there will be no need for sacrifices because the atoning sacrifice has already been made, that of the only begotten Son of God, Jesus the Christ.
Ezekiel 47:4–5 – This trickle (River of Life) gets bigger and bigger the further away it gets from the temple.
Ezekiel 47:9 – This is why I say Millennial Temple because after which there will be a new Heaven and a New Earth and not Dead Sea.
Ezekiel 47:22 – God is giving a map to Ezekiel for the return of the exiles soon and for the Millennial Time the foreigners are those that turned to God and survived during the Great Tribulation.
Ezekiel 48:1 – Dan mentioned here is for the exiles return for Dan is not mentioned in Revelation but one of his brothers sons is Manasseh by name.
Eze 48:5 – Ephraim is also not mentioned in Revelation yet the tribe of Joseph is.
Proverbs 14:1 – Solomon again refers to a woman when talking about wisdom and foolishness.
Proverbs 14:6 – The cross is foolishness to the unbeliever but precious to the Christian!
Proverbs 14:12 – The Prophecy of Deuteronomy 12:8 or the warning of Deuteronomy 13:18 or their actions in Judges 17:6 or Judges 21:25 about men doing what was right in their own eyes preceded attacks and loses of freedoms. But if they had done as in II Kings 10:30 where they had done what was right in God’s eyes, they prospered.
Proverbs 14:14 – When a man is filling his life with his own ways he has no room for God. He will do anything to continue filling himself, even pretending to be upright and honest. When a man is satisfied with what God has made of him he is satisfied in himself.
Proverbs 14: 20–21 – Wicked people are only after worldly gain and have no love for people that are not able to provide it. The poor have many that are against them because they cannot provide what the many want.
Proverbs 14:29 – The latter sound like me. Knowing that I can try to subdue myself but I will need the Lord’s assistance (grace and mercy).
Proverbs 14:31 – You can be known who you are by your actions as a tree can be known by its fruit.
Proverbs 14:34 – America was great because America was good. Titus 1:15 To the pure all things are pure. But to those who are defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure, but even their mind and conscience is defiled.
