II Timothy 2:15 Study earnestly to present yourself approved to God, a workman that does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth.
Bible Reading for November 23 (ONPP)
Joel 1 – 3, Psalms 130

Joel 1:4 – God affirms that these were insects in Joel 2:25. Yet this dos seem to also show the turning away from God to our own desires.
Joel 2:12 – Even at the end as the Lord returns to do battle against the sinful horde if one would only turn their heart to trust Him then He will relent His wrath and save them.
Joel 2:13 – The BIG IF is here. If you tear your heart away from fleshly evil and pride and turn to God, He is merciful and faithful to forgive. God wants to bless us but can not when we refuse fellowship with Him.
Joel 2:15–27 – Here is how you need to prepare your heart in turning to the Lord. Come tell everybody to cry for God’s mercy and He will restore to you sustenance and safety.
Joel 2:28 – Not only will you have plenty but the Lord will draw your children to Him and fill them with His Spirit honoring your trust in Him.
Joel 3:2 – God does the fighting for Israel when He brings them back. Israel does not have to fight.
Joel 3:15 – During the solar eclipse that went through KY a few years back both the sun and moon were dark and there were only a few stars that were bright enough to be seen.
Joel 3:18 – This goes right along with what Ezekiel said in chapter 47.
Psalms 130:1 – The Lord is so merciful to us, His unyielding clay, working with us because He sees the possibility of a great work in our flexibility in His hands. Thus we must change our heart to bend to Him.
Psalms 130:6 – The psalmist was watching for the Messiah as we watch for the rapture. Also as those in the Great Tribulation will be watching for the Glorious Appearing of Christ with the Church to bring an end to the Tribulation.
Psalms 130:7–8 – Another example of the fruit of the BIG If that God has decreed.
