II Samuel 16:3 – So Mephibosheth thinks that after Absalom is crowned king he is going to hand over Israel to him? I think not. Absalom has done too much work in getting the people to see him as a benevolent leader to hand over the leadership to a son of Saul (grandson).
II Samuel 16:5 – This other man from the house of Saul is against David also.
II Samuel 16:6 – David could have easily called his men to kill Shimei but David relied on God to choose the leadership of Israel.
Psalms 104 – The heavens declare His Glory
