Bible Reading for July 29 (ONPP)
II Corinthians 4 – 6, Psalms 30
II Corinthians 4:2–3 – Even when the truth is fully and directly given to some they refuse to believe and remain lost.
II Corinthians 4:4 – Do you remember who the god of this world is? Satan.
II Corinthians 4:15 – Live your life so through your thanksgiving of salvation others may see and be saved, also glorifying God for His prepared work.
II Corinthians 5:5 – The down payment of our salvation is the Holy Spirit that indwells us.
II Corinthians 5:6 – It’s a good thing that we have another comforter (the Holy Spirit).
II Corinthians 5:6-9 – While at the end of the yearly postings I was going to use verse 8 as a reference to none of those that trust the Lord being at the Great White Throne but I realized that the meaning of these verses was more toward how to live your life to honor Him.
II Corinthians 5:10 – The elect appear before the Bema Seat to receive rewards of our work while in this body, while the unbelieving unsaved appear before the Great White Throne of Judgement.
II Corinthians 5:14 – Thus “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.”
II Corinthians 5:15 – It is not for our benefit to live but to glorify God by extoling Christ to all.
II Corinthians 5:19 – Thank you Lord for your excellent mercy and grace.
II Corinthians 6:4 – Paul, as well as we also should, strove to be God’s servant during all the different events of his life. Yes, even as he was in charge of the clothing of those that were stoning Stephen was he striving to be God’s servant.
II Corinthians 6:14 – Be careful who you hang out with, do business with, or marry.
