Bible Reading for July 21 (ONPP)
Job 33 – 35, Psalms 23
Job 33:13 – God is not accountable to anyone but Himself. God is righteous, just, loving, and unchanging.
Job 33:24 – God found a ransom, a cover for man’s sin, the life of His son in exchange for sentence of death from sin.
Job 33:25–30 – Wow what a wonderful loving God we have to serve. God giving us that which we do not deserve (grace) and remaking us in the likeness of His righteousness.
Psalms 23:4 – The shadow of death is just that a shadow. Step a little to the right or left and you can see the light of life. Christ is the light of the world yet many people hide in the shadow in fear of the light that shows their failing. The light reveals the shadow that death casts and they fear that death, but in the light death is not seen and life is revealed, giving those that follow the light anticipation of eternal life that is promised by God.
