Habakkuk 2:4 – As Abram was justified by his faith so are we.
Habakkuk 2:15 – In the book of Esther, Ahasuerus made a feast and being drunk called in his wife Vashti to parade before the men. Also in the book of Daniel, Belshazzar called the Holy goblets to be brought up and he made sport of them in his drunkenness.
Habakkuk 3:8 – Riding on horses reminds me of the four horsemen in Revelation and the chariots of salvation reminds me of the chariot that picked up Elijah.
Habakkuk 3:10 – The recognition of erosion is not a new thing.
Habakkuk 3:11 – When Joshua was defeating the Amorites, God made the sun and moon stand still.
Habakkuk 3:19 – Habakkuk quotes Psalms 18:33 “He makes my feet like hinds’ feet, and sets me on my high places. ”
Proverbs 18:1 – Separating one’s self is a prideful thing, one separates because he thinks of himself as better and the other separates himself because he is afraid of failure and verbal belittling. Both are narcissistic in their own way and need to learn how to love others as God does.
Proverbs 18:15 – If you have made it to this verse this year then you have been wise and prudent. This does not apply if you just started here.
Proverbs 18:18 – Casting lots is a way of settling disagreements. We do it in government by votes. There are some however that are so wicked that they will ignore the result and try to overturn or bypass the decision.
