Micah 5 – 7, Psalms 139
Micah 5:2 – Yes this is the prophecy of the birth of Jesus in Bethlehem. This is where the information came from so the wise men could go to honor Him.
Micah 5:7 – The remnant that came back from captivity of both Israel (Samaria) and Judah was about forty–four thousand. There is also a remnant mentioned in Revelation, twelve thousand from each tribe to total one hundred forty–four thousand.
Micah 6:8 – As Samuel told Saul to obey God is better than burnt sacrifices.
Micah 6:16 – Even though Ahab’s line was cut off he still affects the people in having something to replace God in worship.
Micah 7:9 – Micah is saying the same thing that Job did in Job 42.
Micah 7:18 – Yes, God’s Mercy is abundant toward those who turn away from sin to worship Him.
Psalms 139 – God is omnipresent and takes care of those that love Him where ever they are. God is omniscient and sees into our heart, knowing our true allegiance.
Psalms 139:23–24 – Yes! Let God open up my heart to my failings so that I may change and He will lead me on the living path.
