Matthew 15:8 – Isaiah was not making a prophecy about the religious leaders in Christ’s time but was showing us the true state of man in all generations that do not seek God and live in a system that encourages everyone to do likewise.
Mark 7:7 – A realization of taking the Lord’s name (God’s chosen people, Christian) in vain.
