II Timothy 2:15 Study earnestly to present yourself approved to God, a workman that does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth.
Chronological Bible Reading for November 21
Acts 13-14
Acts 13:8 – This Elymas, a gate to hell for the proconsul, could not withstand the Word of God from Saul.
Acts 13:26 – This word of salvation to whomever fears God is probably what launches the ire of the synagogue rulers. Their prejudice against the Gentile people and pride of the “Jews” being God’s chosen people is still inherent in them.
Acts 13:33 – When God makes a promise He sees that it is fulfilled.
Acts 13:46 – Those that reject Christ judge themselves and do not need God or any man to judge them. John 3:18
Acts 13:50 – The priests that were covetous over their own position, stirred up those that loved the ruling positions and social positions in the city to eject Paul and Barnabas.
Acts 14:2 – Unbelievers are evil hearted in that they turn away from God and His path. They are jealous and will attempt to destroy that which convicts them of their evil ways. Their pride in themselves is their undoing.
Acts 14:17 – The life giving rain and fruitful harvest is a witness to God’s love for us.
Acts 14:21 – After Paul was stoned he came back to witness to the people where he was stoned and then to the people that encouraged his stoning.
Acts 14:22 – If Christ was so despised and hated should not we also be despised and hated by the world?
