II Samuel 7:2 – David’s heart toward God is pure in this but God wants to delay the construction so that the people will know that God is to be looked to for provision in peace time as well as war.
II Samuel 7:6 – God is showing here that He does not just reside at the tabernacle but goes along with His people to lead them where He wants them to be.
II Samuel 7:12 – Jehovah told David that the Messiah would come from his line. Yes God also plans for Solomon to build a house for the ark.
II Samuel 7:13 – Jesus said that He was going to prepare a place for us.
