Chronological Bible Reading for May 22
Psalms 95, 97-99
Psalms 95:1 – Do not forsake the assembling of ourselves together.
Psalms 95:6–11 – Over and over God gives us the pattern to salvation, the BIG If in verse 7, reminding us of what happens when we go it alone as in verses 8–11.
Psalms 97:1 – Amen!
Psalms 97:6 – This is a preview of the end times in Revelation.
Psalms 97:10 – A command for righteousness!
Psalms 98:1 – Yes! All glory be to God! To praise Him is a glorious thing!
Psalms 98:3 – God has never forgotten Israel but was preparing the place for the right time. Man’s view is that God forgets him but it is man that forgets God.
Psalms 98:9 – God does not take into account a person’s social, status or background but judges by His law. There is more to God’s law than the commandments; there is the belief and trust in His Word.
Psalms 99:1 – Wow! Righteousness, Power, Justice, Glory, Holy, Greatness, Merciful, Loving, Forgiving, these words do not come close to describing HIM.
