II Kings 2:20 – Elisha is going to put salt in a well with bad water in Jericho, the lowest city in the world, that sits just north of the Dead Sea. Symbolically, this salt signifies the purifying hand of God keeping this well fresh.
II Kings 3:7 – Jehoshaphat’s son was married to Ahab’s daughter (Jehoram’s sister)
II Kings 4:2 – As Elijah took care of a widow woman and her child with the endless pots of flour and oil Elisha does for this woman for oil in abundance.
II Kings 4:35 – This is the first time Elisha raises someone from death.
II Kings 4:42 – As Jesus fed 5,000 men with a few loaves and small fish, Elisha gets God’s blessing of food multiplication for these prophets he was with.
