Chronological Bible Reading for December 29
Revelation 6-11
![]()
Revelation 6:1 – Four Horsemen, White Horse – The Antichrist bringing peace to Israel and the world; Red Horse – War among and within nations; Black Horse – famine for the poor of the world; Pale Horse – death from many causes.
Revelation 6:2 – The shock of so many missing in the taking away of the church (I Thessalonians 4:17), will draw many to Christ from those that attended worship to those of other religions, and atheists.
Revelation 6:6 – denarius (penny) – a day’s wages, chaenix – a measure enough for a man’s appitite for a day, about a quart. The poor would work for a day to feed themselves for a day but the rich will have enough for oil and wine and nothing is taken away from them.
Revelation 6:9 – These souls are not of the church era but have come to Christ after the rapture. (Latin – rapiemur, “caught up” I Thessalonians 4:17)
Revelation 6:12 – I have heard researchers of solar dynamics say that a micro–nova is due and could block out the light of the sun before particle impact, possibly giving the moon a deep red light also. God knows His time and has predestined what is to happen how He chooses to do it.
Revelation 6:14 – These things also have a connection to our sun and because of the massive energy input to the Earth’s crustal plates from a micro–nova they could be stimulated to movement. The stars may be conglomerations of mass from the sun falling to earth, and other clouds of debris would block the light of the stars.
Revelation 6:15 – The leadership and the rich have places to go to in an emergency such as seen here and the middle class and poor do not. Those in hiding are calling out to the Earth for protection and not God.
Revelation 7:3 – Though they will have to endure and survive the troubles afore mentioned, and those to come, it is evident that many have turned to Christ as Savior and Lord. God has never wiped His feet of Israel but has always kept His promises. This also parallels Ezekiel 9:4.
Revelation 7:9 – This is the persecuted believers that came to Christ after the church was raised and taken up, that died in the time of tribulation.
Revelation 7:14 – The great multitude that came out of the Great Tribulation.
Revelation 8:1 – There is such reverence to the upcoming events that the quiet could be measured in Heaven.
Revelation 8:4 – It is so wonderful that our prayers are so precious to God that when mixed with His will, His works, they are an offering to Him.
Revelation 8:5 – With our prayers glorified and sanctified they become a witness to God’s supremacy and power.
Revelation 8:7 – Now we get into John’s description of the seven trumpet plagues. I take it to mean as it is written because God is not slack in His power of creation. Regardless of the content of the plagues they are a warning to the people to turn away from unrighteous selfish pursuits and toward God in humility and acceptance of His word.
Revelation 8:12 – This heavenly sight could still be part of the sun going through its micro–nova phase of its “twelve thousand year cycle”.
Revelation 9:4 – There are men still on Earth some with the seal of God and some without. God still allows some to come to salvation by faith to populate the earth during the Melinial reign of Christ.
Revelation 10:4 – God does not tell us everything. He gives us what we need to perform His will in us and we will patiently wait for the time we are in Glory with Him.
Rev 10:6 – After the happenings that the seven thunders sounded this angel swore that there should no longer be time. We will then be in God’s eternal domain where there is no night and the light proceeds from the throne of God.
Revelation 10:9 – As also Ezekiel was told to take the little book and eat it so was John.
Revelation 10:11 – Not only was John to write this book but was to be released and spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ to a second and third generation of people so as to call them to redemption.
Revelation 11:1 – God is showing John that the temple grounds is reserved for believers only and the area outside it that was for the gentiles or unbelievers. The real worship was in the temple proper with the alter and sacrifice made for sin while the false worship was outside without an acceptable sacrifice.
Revelation 11:3 – There are two that are publically witnessing to the people and are being reported about through the whole earth. They are being protected by God and have been given defensive capabilities until their appointed time. Their names are not mentioned but are referred to as Moses and Elijah because Jesus talked to those two in front of His disciples on the Mount of Transfiguration. I personally feel that they will be Enoch and Elijah because they had never died and God says it is appointed man once to die then the judgement. What about rapture you say? I Thessalonians 4:17.
Revelation 11:8 – Jerusalem is called Sodom and Egypt due to its lusts and worship of false gods.
Revelation 11:10 – The people are glad that God’s prophets are dead. They had shut up the rain and turned the waters to blood and called up so many plagues in the three and one half years that they preached.
Revelation 11:12 – Come up is the same word that is used in Rev 4:1 telling John to come up.
Revelation 11:13 – After the resurrection of the prophets and the earthquake the rest of the people in the city glorified God hopefully turning to Christ for salvation.
