Chronological Bible Reading for August 4

Nahum 1:2 – Jonah's time was 786–746 BC. Nineveh was attacked and destroyed in 612 BC. As in the time after Joseph where there arose another Pharaoh, Nineveh did not continue in repentance of their wickedness against God.
Nahum 1:3 – God waited on Nineveh to keep their repentance for around 150 years.
Nahum 1:7–8 – God's BIG IF shows up at Nineveh. The good part when we obey God and the bad part when we turn away from Him.
Nahum 2:2 – The glory of Jacob (Jerusalem) is being plundered as was done to the other ten tribes (Israel).
