II Kings 20-21
II Kings 20:5 – Hezekiah’s actions to set his house in order by first coming to God in prayer was the action that extended his life.
II Kings 20:19 – Although Isaiah has given a prophecy of slavery for Hezekiah’s children Hezekiah acts as if he does not care for them just his own selfish pride and comfort. (Isaiah 39:8)
II Kings 21:1 – If Hezekiah had not been given those fifteen years this wicked leader would not have been born.
II Kings 21:14 – Because the people of Judah left off worshiping God, the evil that was held back is no longer restrained. A secular leader is only a reflection of the will of the people because they are afraid of losing their position.
