II Timothy 2:15 Study earnestly to present yourself approved to God, a workman that does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth.

Jeremiah 26-29
Jeremiah 26:3 – There is that BIG IF again. God is always giving each of us a personal chance to return to Him in fellowship.
Jeremiah 26:6 – Least we forget Shiloh was the place of worship for the nation Israel before there was a king.
Jeremiah 7:14 also says that the Temple will be destroyed like Shiloh was.
Jeremiah 26:17 – These elders were speaking in the basis of law and not a relationship to God. Verse 24 states the man’s hand kept Jeremiah from being killed but it was God’s plan that he would not. Just as Peter and John before the Jewish Council were set free by man but done in God’s plan.
Jeremiah 27:11 – If these nations will believe God then He will protect them from slavery so that they may remain in their own land. Those that put their pride before God and try to protect themselves will be carted off to slavery or be killed for their stubbornness.
Jeremiah 28:16 – So, Jeremiah said “when the word of the prophet shall come to pass, then the prophet shall be known, that Jehovah has truly sent him.” Jeremiah’s prophecy was to come before Hananiah’s. If it happens then Jeremiah should be considered the prophet that Jehovah has sent and they should respect what God has told them through him.
Jeremiah 28:17 – This is why we have the book of Jeremiah and not the book of Hananiah. The prophecy Jeremiah received from God was true and came to pass, thus the people should believe the first prophecy also and not Hananiah’s.
Jeremiah 29:7 – God said to pray for the peace of the city which you are enslaved. In this case it was an exile city of Babylon but in latter times it would be all of Israel and Jerusalem under Roman occupation.
Jeremiah 29:10 – This is the second time Jeremiah has prophesied the time of Israel’s return.
Jeremiah 29:11 – This verse is most likely pointing to Cyrus releasing the Jews to return to Israel and build the temple and restore Jerusalem. While in the book of Esther God brought about peace for the nation Israel after the decree that they were allowed to protect themselves from the decree brought about by Haman.
Jeremiah 29:32 – Again because of the stubbornness of his heart a man has lost the fellowship of God for himself and his children forever.
