I Samuel 21-24

I Samuel 21:6 – Because David had been on the run from Saul for the last three days and had not been with his wife Michal, he was clean and thus eligible to eat the unleavened bread that had been taken off of the showbread table.
I Samuel 21:9 – The sword of Goliath that he would have used to sever David’s head and was used instead to sever Goliath’s head is here to be used to protect David.
I Samuel 22:1 – God gathers an army around David to protect and supply him.

I Samuel 23:13 – This army gathered around David has grown since David garrisoned in the cave Adullam.

I Samuel 23:26 – When God is protecting you danger can be so near, but still far away. It may be that the car ahead of me is going slow to keep me from arriving at the same spot as another car. Or I’m put in a rush to get ahead of some traffic or accident.
