Isaiah 64:4 – Faith is also waiting on God while He works. Abraham believed God and it was counted as righteousness for him.
Isaiah 66:1 – Solomon realized that God could not be contained as referenced in I Kings 8:27 and II Chronicles 6:18.
Isaiah 66:3 – Since the old sacrifices point to Christ that now shed His blood, died, and was raised by God, any further blood sacrifice is a selfish and prideful abomination.
Isaiah 66:12 – I wonder if Horatio Spafford, the writer of “It Is Well With My Soul” had been reading this verse when he came to the place in the Atlantic Ocean where the ship sank that his wife and children were on.
