Bible Reading for November 20 (ONPP)
Hosea 8 – 10, Psalms 128
Hosea 8:4 – We make our personal position toward or away from God. We either exclude Him with other things we spend our time with or include Him with His Word and His guidance.
Hosea 8:12 – How much more so today that the even greater of God’s mercy is available and people turn away from it and treat it like waste.
Hosea 9:16 – God is making an example of Ephraim’s extreme sinfulness because they knew the way to forgiveness but they turned away from it to search out their own desires.
Hosea 10:12 – Turn your hard trodden heart into one that will receive the message of salvation from the Holy Spirit. Grow from salvation to mercy and grace, forgiveness and love. Man must first learn mercy before he can give grace but God began with grace and shows mercy through it.
Psalms 128:1 – John 3:18 He who believes on Him is not condemned, but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only–begotten Son of God.
