Mark 15 – 16, Psalms 63
Mark 15:28 – A prophecy fulfilled from Isaiah 53:12.
Mark 15:32 – Would it be a greater miracle to come down from the cross or rise from the dead? And if they would believe if He came down from the cross then why not believe when He arose from the dead? It is because their hearts were evil and hated to lose the position and honor that their status gave.
Mark 16:14 – This is representative of the whole world. Few believe but many, because of their heart is turned away from God and toward power, position, wealth, entertainment, or self, do not.
Mark 16:16 – A more direct translation using Strong’s dictionary is “to have faith and immersed delivered but unbelieving is condemned” giving us a more consistent meaning with John 3:18.
