![]()
II Chronicles 6:13 – This gives us a better view of Solomon’s reverence toward God than I Kings 8:22.
II Chronicles 6:16 – If Only! For those that represent the Lord, their position of authority is dependent upon their actions, that they should be honoring God and His plan for the people.
II Chronicles 6:18 – The incredible expanse of God is unknowable.
II Chronicles 6:21 – Solomon asks God to hear the requests of the people individually not just through the priests.
II Chronicles 6:24 – If the people sin and then repent God will forgive their sin and redeem them unto Himself. Only God can forgive sin because sin is against God’s Law and only God can redeem a person because the penalty for sin is death and God provided His only begotten son, Jesus the Christ, as a substitute for our penalty.
II Chronicles 6:32 – Not just to God’s people only but to the strangers around that come to God to become His people.
II Chronicles 7:1 – Woah! WOW! Praise God! Glory to His name! This is a glorious example of God’s acceptance of Israel as they turned to honor and worship Him.
II Chronicles 7:13 – Solomon’s request that if the people repent God will bless them, is granted by God.
II Chronicles 7:17–18 – That’s a BIG IF! God gracefully accepts our faith in Him and that does not fail but we can ignore His Law and loose His blessing and fellowship.
II Chronicles 7:19 – Every If comes with a Then and an Else. This time the implied Else from verse 17 is representing itself with another If that has specific and focused actions, but sometimes the Else is the absence of the blessing or curse contained in the Then part.
II Chronicles 7:22 – You harvest the crop that you plant.
Psalms 139 – God is omnipresent and takes care of those that love Him where ever they are. God is omniscient and sees into our heart, knowing our true allegiance.
Psalms 139:23–24 – Yes! Let God open up my heart to my failings so that I may change and He will lead me on the living path.
