Bible Reading for February 5 (ONPP)
Exodus 29 – 31, Psalms 31
Exodus 29:4 – Moses is God to Aaron and he washes him fully before giving him new garments and crowning him. GOD also washes us with the blood of Christ before we are crowned.
Exodus 30:12 – Did David take up a ransom (half a shekel of silver) from each man in Israel when he numbered them? If he had then there would have been no sin against God and no plague of retribution.
Exodus 30:23 – This is the recipe for the anointing oil!! Not for the head of man though.
Psalms 31:1 – Never being ashamed, never thinking that He will not be with you, never letting your pride (shyness in my case) getting in your way of telling them about the things God has done for you and what He has prepared for you.
Psalms 31:5 – Only you can commit your spirit to the Lord. Others do not have control of your spirit. That is why we are to have a personal relationship with God.
