Mark 1 – 3, Psalms 45
![]()
Mark 1:4 – A prophecy fulfilled from Malachi 3:1 & Isaiah 40:3.
Mark 1:13 – Jesus was subject to God’s Law for man and therefore was also subject to temptation. While we being subject to God’s Law, deny God and disobey His Law, Jesus chose to obey the Law and deny temptation.
Mark 1:34 – Jesus did not want the evil demons to even speak the truth. If He had allowed that then He would have given them credibility that might deceive others.
Mark 1:44 – Since the perfect sacrifice had not yet been offered Jesus honored the Law that God had given. Jesus had not come to be king at this time but the Lamb of God to take away the sin of the world.
Mark 2:12 – My commentary looks at the wonder of the healing to full strength. I was thinking of the full forgiveness of sin being certified by the miracle of total healing.
Mark 3:12 – Again Jesus did not want the demons to have any credibility that might cause others to take the wrong path.
Mark 3:29 – Crediting the work of God, the Holy Spirit, or Jesus the Christ to Satan.
