II Timothy 2:15 Study earnestly to present yourself approved to God, a workman that does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth.
Chronological Bible Reading for November 4
Matthew 22; Mark 12

Matthew 22:5 – There are many that are so concerned about worldly things that they don’t care about the salvation celebration that God freely offers.
Matthew 22:6 – Many others hate what God offers and vehemently turn violent against those that bring news of it. It reminds them of the death that they deserve and it is offensive to them.
Matthew 22:12 – God’s acceptance is based on you accepting His provision for salvation.
Matthew 22:16 – Flattery will get you nowhere because He knows your heart. The priests and elders had just asked Him by what authority He healed and now they send their disciples saying Master and proclaiming Him true to God?
Matthew 22:29 – When your heart is on this world you think and speak according to this world. When your heart is on God you think and speak from His perspective. Could there have been anyone else in the world that would have been able to give an answer like this.
Matthew 22:43–45 – This is the question that the Pharisees need to answer to find salvation. Remember Jesus was teaching them in the Temple when He was twelve years old.
Mark 12:36 – Both words translated Lord are the same in the Greek (kurios). In Psalm 110:1 the first is Jehovah and the second is Adoni(aw-done’) (controller, master, owner).
