II Timothy 2:15 Study earnestly to present yourself approved to God, a workman that does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth.

Acts 20:10 – God healed Eutychus of his fatal injuries through Paul and returned him to life.
Acts 20:18 – Another farewell sermon to the Ephesian elders as he did at Troas.
Acts 20:23 – Paul has been counseled by the Holy Spirit that he will be persecuted when he reaches Jerusalem.
Acts 21:4 – The Holy Spirit is still advising Paul through others of the persecution awaiting him at Jerusalem.
Acts 21:11 – Now we get a little more specific that Paul will not be tried by the Jews but by Rome.
Acts 21:21 – The Jews that are zealous for the Law are misinformed about Paul’s teaching. Paul said circumcision is to the Lord and uncircumcision is to the Lord. Honoring God in faith is the important part. Without faith circumcision is dammed and without faith uncircumcision is dammed. It is not the actions that save us it is the response to salvation that require actions of humility.
Acts 21:29 – As the Pharisees complained about Jesus having company with sinners these are complaining about Paul having company with one not a Jew.
Acts 21:34 – Those bearing witness against Paul could not come to the same charge as those that bore witness of the “misdeeds” of Jesus could not come together with like charges.
Acts 21:40 – Here Paul is giving the crowd no excuse before God and is doing his duty so that their blood is not on his hands.
Acts 22:22 – This crowd is jealous of God sending Paul to the Gentiles because they rejected Him long ago. Their heritage, sacrifices, or knowledge of scripture cannot save them. It is the God given faith in His plan of salvation that saves us. Abraham believed God and it was counted unto him as righteousness. All the nations will be blessed by Abraham’s seed (singular seed not plural seeds).
Acts 22:28 – The chief captain knew what it was to have redemption, but one only that he could pay, but the redemption to be a citizen of Heaven is beyond sinful man’s ability. Paul being born as a Roman citizen was free from undue punishment as Jesus was born free from sin did not need redemption but could pay that debt for us.
Acts 22:29 – Even binding a citizen could bring repercussions.
Acts 22:30 – Yes, Paul gets to confront his accusers.
Acts 23:6 – Paul struck the unbelievers in the place that would put them against each other.
Acts 23:12 – Okay, let’s think this thing through. You are going to overpower a Roman cohort and kill Paul?
Acts 23:15 – Now they are planning deception to get Paul “out in the open” to attack him with little resistance.
Acts 23:20 – God does not let the assassination plan go unnoticed. If the chief captain allowed someone to hurt a Roman citizen when he knew the danger was imminent he would be delinquent in his duty.
Acts 23:23 – This captain decided not to take any chances. He sent Paul with four hundred and seventy–five soldiers to Caesarea in the middle of the night.
Acts 23:27 – Oh yeah, now you build yourself up protecting a Roman that you were going to give lashes to two days ago.
Acts 23:35 – It seems that Roman law required that leadership from the home of a Roman citizen accused be present to make judgement upon the citizen. This also was the case when Jesus was in front of Pilate and was sent to Herod for judgement.
