Psalms 119:133 Order my steps in Your Word; and do not let any iniquity rule over me.
Chronological Bible Reading for February 7
Exodus 25-27
Exodus 25 – Pastor Chris gave an excellent sermon breaking down Exodus 25 to its component subjects at https://www.lakesidebaptist-nancy.com/sermons/exodus-25-the-god-of-the-tabernacle/.
Exodus 25:2 – This is not a command to the people but a request. Jehovah is not erratic or chaotic, His plan is of order and defined purpose.
Exodus 25:9 – God gives Moses the plans for the Tabernacle and its furniture.
Below are some websites that give explanations of the tabernacle and its furniture.

Exodus 25:10 – The Ark in the Holy of Holies represents the throne of God. The thick curtain limited access and protected those doing the daily chores in the Holy Place. The Ark was only to be accessed once per year by the High Priest who had to make a sacrifice for his sin just prior.
Exodus 25:15 – These staves are to be left in the rings to show that the Ark was to be carried by hand when moved and not transported any other way.
Exodus 25:23 – The table for bread represents the Word of God. Jesus said “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God” (Matthew 4:4).
Exodus 25:31 – The Golden Lampstand provides light to the tabernacle as well as represents the continual light of truth that the Word gives. Jesus said, “I am the light of the world He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life” (John 8:12).
Exodus 26:1 – The Tabernacle represents the one path to God and protection from His wrath. Without the sacrifice we are foreign to God. But His love for us is why He provided the path to salvation through the sacrifice of His Son. “Therefore as by one offense sentence came on all men to condemnation, even so by the righteousness of One the free gift came to all men to justification of life.” (Romans 5:18)
Exodus 27:1 – The Alter is the place of sacrifice that is outside the Holy Place.
